How to define a new site in dreamweaver.

Next 

1. With Dreamweaver open, go to the menu at the top, click "Site" and select "New Site…".

You will see a screen like this.



2.
Enter the following information.

  • Site Name - Enter a name for the site.
  • Local Root Folder - Click the picture of the folder so you can find your website files on your local machine.
  • Refresh Local File List Automatically checkbox - keep checked.
  • HTTP Address - Leave as default. (http://)
  • Cache checkbox - Leave as default.
