How to upload files and graphics to your domain using WS_FTP.

1. Once you have opened up the WS_FTP LE program, you will see the screen below:

2. This is a description of the five fields you see above:

• Profile Name: This can be set to anything, its only used for your personal naming convention. In the above example itsI just called ws_ftp_tutorial.
• Host Name/Address: In the example above, you see the IP of a Web Site. You can use either of these settings in the Host Name/Address:
  • Your domain name, assuming the domain is on our nameservers (which are ns1.4servers.com and ns2.4servers.com).
  • The IP address of the server your account is hosted on.
• Host Type: Leave this as automatic detect
• User ID: this is simply the username documented on your configuration letter. Note usernames are case SeNsITiVe.
• Password: Use the password that was provided for you in the new account configuration letter, unless you have changed your password since. Note password are case SeNsITiVe.
• Account: You can ignore this setting, it is not necessary to ftp into the domain.
